Rebekah Heacock is a blogger, traveler and digital media habitué. She currently studies the intersection of participatory media and political development as a Master of International Affairs candidate at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, where she co-edits SIPA’s blog, The Morningside Post. She also researches Internet censorship for Harvard University’s OpenNet Initiative and writes regular round-ups of the Ugandan blogosphere for Global Voices Online.
